Ticket Prices and Concessions

Standard and Reduced Rates

The admission prices are set to be accessible for everyone. Here is the official price list:

    • Adults (Foreign visitors): 50 MAD
    • Children (under 12 years old): 10 MAD
    • Moroccan Nationals & Residents: 20 MAD
    • Groups (20 or more people): 30 MAD per person

Free Entry

Unlike many European museums, there are no standard free admission days (such as the first Sunday of the month) or broad categories for free entry (like EU citizens under 26). The reduced rates for children and nationals are the primary concessions offered.

How to Get Your Ticket

All tickets, including reduced-price ones, must be purchased at the ticket counter at the entrance to the Madrasa.

Payment is by cash only, in Moroccan Dirhams (MAD). Please make sure you have enough local currency with you for your party.

For those eligible for a reduced rate, such as Moroccan nationals or residents, be prepared to show a valid form of identification (National ID card, passport, or residency permit). For group rates, the entire group must be present and pay in a single transaction.

Is there a student discount?
There is no specific discount for international students. Only Moroccan nationals and residents have a reduced adult rate.
Do I need to show ID for my child?
It is always a good idea to have a form of ID for children to prove their age, although it is not always requested.
Are there any other discounts available?
Some tour operators may offer combined tickets that include the Madrasa and other nearby attractions like the Museum of Marrakech for a slightly reduced overall price. It is worth checking these options.
