The Main Courtyard

The heart of the Madrasa. This large, marble-paved courtyard features a central reflecting pool that mirrors the stunning facades. The Prayer Hall

The Student Cells

Finding Your Way

The Madrasa is located at Rue Assouel, Marrakech 40000, deep within the historic Medina. The easiest way to reach it is on foot. From the main square, Jemaa el-Fna, it is a well-signposted 10-15 minute walk through the souks. Follow the signs for "Musée de Marrakech," as the Madrasa is located right next to it.

Taxis can take you to the edge of the Medina, but they cannot enter the narrow alleyways leading to the site. If you take a taxi, ask to be dropped off near Place Ben Youssef, and from there it is a short walk. Embrace the journey through the souks as part of the experience!

Currently, the official website's online ticketing is under maintenance. Tickets must be purchased with cash (Moroccan Dirhams) at the entrance. Booking a guided tour with us is the best way to have your ticket included.
