Key rules for a respectful visit
Dress Modestly
As this was a place of religious study, respectful attire is appreciated. Please ensure your shoulders and knees are covered. Loose-fitting clothing is recommended for comfort and to respect local customs.
Maintain a Quiet Demeanor
The Madrasa is a place of tranquility and contemplation. Please speak in low voices and avoid loud conversations to respect the atmosphere and the experience of other visitors.
Respectful Photography
Photography is permitted, but please be mindful. Do not use flash, as it can damage the delicate surfaces. Tripods and selfie sticks are generally not allowed. Always ask for permission before taking photos of staff or other visitors.
Do Not Touch
Please refrain from touching the carved stucco, wood, and tilework. The oils from hands can cause damage to these centuries-old surfaces. Help us preserve this masterpiece by admiring it with your eyes only.
